Who is at a higher risk?

People with chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. (COPD) are likely to have more severe illness if they are affected by COVID-19 virus.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

May have symptoms of Fever, Cough and Shortness of breath. Generally, the symptoms last 2-14 days.

Should you wear mask to protect yourself from COVID-19 Infection?

Everyone is recommended to wear a mask to reduce the risk of infection. Even a simple homemade cloth mask may be used.

What should you do if you are being Home Quarantined?

  • Restrict your movement within the house, keep 1m distance from others and stay away from elderly people, pregnant women, children, and people with co-morbidities

  • Wash your hands frequently

  • Keep and wash your linens separately

  • Clean and disinfect touched surfaces with 1% Sodium Hypochlorite Solution

  • Clean and disinfect toilet surfaces daily
